British Red Cross ‘ready to tackle swine flu outbreak’

The British Red Cross is ready to tackle a potential wide-spread outbreak of swine flu, it has stated.

Margaret Lally, interim director of the charity’s UK operations, commented that it is already collaborating with health and social care providers to support ambulance workers and offer home visits.
