A man has been jailed for six weeks after abusing paramedics and nursing staff trying to help him after he took a cocktail of drink and drugs.

Karl Gibbins, 35, appeared at Norwich Magistrates’ Court yesterday for sentencing, after pleading guilty at an earlier hearing to possessing a knife in a public place, two counts of threatening behaviour and one of criminal damage, all on March 26.
