Dubai: Mercedes delivers world’s biggest ambulance

Daimler has handed over three new, large-capacity ambulances to the Centre of Ambulance Services of the government of Dubai.

The three Mercedes-Benz Citaro-based clinic buses were ordered so that rapid medical assistance can be rendered in the event of emergencies with large numbers of injury victims. Up to 20 people can receive care from four specialist personnel in the Mercedes-Benz large-capacity ambulance, which has the potential to serve as a fully equipped, mobile clinic with an intensive-care unit and an operating theatre.
