A woman who developed hypothermia after she fell on black ice waited for more than an hour for an ambulance that never turned up.
Jill Belletti fractured her elbow when she slipped and fell at the London Road Park and ride site.
She called for an ambulance and waited in the cold for more than an hour but no paramedics arrived to help her.
“I was in agony,” she said. “There was no one around and now the park and rides are unmanned there was nowhere to go for help. It was freezing cold.
“Eventually I managed to get back to my car and a kind woman waited with me but the ambulance never came.”

Doesn’t her car have a heater? Who diagnosed hypothermia anyway? Why didn’t her husband drive to her then take her to hospital? Good grief!
